PodSafe Music #7
OK, I’ve survived the new year’s eve and everything good and bad with it. But that’s a whole another post…
Now it’s time for some nice music. After I’ve wrote that nice script that can download the mp3’s from PSMN, I’ve discovered quite a few nice songs and talented artists. This time I’ll present two of them.
First, in the chronological order, is Kevin Reeves. His new single Shine is a piece of very nice pop/rock music, quite pleasant to the ear and a kind of song you find humming to yourself while waiting for the bus.
I think this is a first single from the upcoming album, that should be released sometime in January or February and is actually produced by Slau (the guy behind PodSafeForPeace project that I presented last year).
The second artist today is Bill. This is quite interesting band, who like to experiment with brass, woodwind and other instruments in an unusual way. What we get from it is a really catchy combination of genres which I personaly like very much.
I’ve actually heard them first on DSC 304 (Daily Source Code by Adam Curry, the Podcasting father), where Adam played their Sound Scientist song. I was blown away! Adam said it was sitting in his playlist from July 2005 and he was amazed that he was missing out on this great piece of music (so was I, actualy).
