One of those days…

… when you can only say “Yeah, right!”

Today I woke up raher late (as seams to be the trend lately) and had a game or two of Literati on Yahoo Games. Then I got my guitar and amp and went to Piran, where our band had rehersal. And then something “fishy” happend. I parked my car and wanted to rollup the windows. Left one went OK, but right one just wasn’t for the game! And these are electric-powered windows, so I couldn’t fuck-up something by force or something. It just didn’t work.

After some closer inspection, by bandmates and me, we decided that there must be something wrong with the steel cord inside the door, cause the electirc motor was turning and the window wasn’t moving. So I reparked my car somewhere out of sight so noone would get the idea of stealing it. And then we had our rehersal…

Well, that was strange too. There was this guy, who was not a part of a band and still he wodered around our rehersal-room and was really annoying. I hate those kind of people that just stick on you and never let go. And if that wasn’t enough, half-way through one of the songs one of my strings decided that it had enough of me torturing it and it broke. Nice. :( Then I had to change it with a spare one but it turned out it wasn’t the right one (by the gauge I mean), so it didn’t do any good. We had to end our rehersal a little bit sooner than planned but no biggie.

Apart from that we had a really nice rehersal. It was the first one with the new drummer and so far we like what we hear. In a year and a half that we are formed as a group we had so many drummers I lost count. I think there were 5 of them. One we had for a long time was pretty good but dumb like a stone. So we let him go. I hope we’ll have better luck this time. We have another rehersal tomorrow (or is it today) and will se how it goes.

Anyway, we finished rehearsing and I offered to give our bassist a lift home and back to work. Three of not-so-small bandmembers and our not-so-small gear cramed in my little broken-window car and we took off. And then next unbeliveable thing happend…
As we were driving out of the bassists home town we had to get by this parking paybooth. There were 3 cars in a line before us as I was playing with the parking ticket and suddenly it slipped out of my hand… into the crack in the doors where the window is rolled into! Un-fu***ng-beliveable! :( Then I had to convince the parking-booth guy that I lost it. He threathened me with some kind of fine or something but then he let us go.

I did my share of driving my bandmates around then went to the music-stuff shop and got new set of strings for my guitar and then, finaly, headed home.

Now I’m tired, with no will to go out and have fun. It’s just one of those days…
