One-handed computing?!
I don’t think so! Using the computer with one hand only is unbelievably hard! Especially when you’re running linux, like I do, and you work as a programmer durring the summer, like I do.
What am I talking about? Well, as of one tragic moment yesterday, when I was stung by a bee or an wasp, my left hand is swollen, itchy and virtually useless!
I was carrying some of the band’s equipment to my car when this thing stung me right into a vein on my wrist. I took a medicine mom gave me and tried to use some ice to control the damage, but then I had to go and drive the equipment back to the shelter (where our band practices). On the way, the hand had swolen so much I had to stop at Kanela bar and ask for some ice cubes. After I got back home I used some more cooling-pads to try and cool the swolen hand down. It worked, but not for long. During the night I hardly closed my eyes, until, at 5 o’clock, I’ve virtually passed out and overslept the wakeup time to go to work. As it turns out I couldn’t do much work anyway so I decided to stay home.
This excessive reaction to a bee sting is rather unusual for me. I was never alergic to this kind of things. Maybe it’s because I was stung right into the vein… Well, it’s scary anyway.
So, I can’t write with both hands at the moment and I’ve written this with right one only. I can’t even imagine how would it be if one of my hands would be cut off or something. My computer and music related “careers” would go down the drain, and then what?!
I better get the doctor on the phone…
EDIT: Thanks to maQ this thing is a little better now. I could use an electronic version of you, maQ. ;)

Hello, I’ll be your (superficial) language nazi today!
1. unbelievably - adjectives (i.e. unbelievable) modify nouns, whereas verbs are modified by adverbs.
2. Specially has two L’s. Especially would sound even better.
3. During, on the other hand, has a single R.
4. “osp” is a wasp, unless I am terribly mistaken.
5. Double L in swollen.
6. Also in virtally.
7. Unuseful would end in one L, but you might consider “useless”
8. Nice touch with qubes there, “cubes” would be the more conventional way
9. Excessive.
Not too bad, for doing it with only one hand.
Hope you get better soon.

I think you’ve got a problem here.

maQmIgh: Hey, thanks! I wasn’t really paying much attention to the spelling as I was focused at moving my hand so I could write as fast as possible. Anyway, I’ll try to fix the stuff you mention (and learn it too).
igzebedze: If I had voice recognition you would be reading chinese with bits of french right now :)
Hmm… why are there 2 previous posts any only one that last one, maQ?

Because when we posted the first two comments, we actually waited for something to happen, as it didn’t, we submitted again. After waiting for some time for the page to refresh and show the new comments, we gave up and refreshed manually. Then came the moment of truth: When you click submit, apparently nothing happens, but the comment gets through anyway. ;)

I see. Hmm… I’ll try and upgrade the WordPress thingy. If the problem will still be present then there’s something wrong with the apache/php/mysql configuration. Will investigate, thanks.
