My sacrifice!

And I want one! Black! :)

This time Apple really redesigned the whole computer. The keyboard is different, the screen is widescreen, harddrive and RAM are easier to get to (remember this), the latch for the screen is not mechanical any more, etc.

Again, some people think that price is too high but hey, it’s Apple! You don’t get this degree of details anywhere else! Sure, it may not be the fastest computer for the price, but who wants that!? :)

As I’ve seen the specs I can say that there are just a few things that I don’t know if I like:

1. Glossy screen - it supposed to have more contrast and vivid colors but I don’t know if that is worth having a mirror on your laptop.
2. Intel-integrated graphics card with shared memory :( - which probably sucks even compared to Radeon 9200 in my iBook G4.
3. The new keyboard - I’m not sure if flat keys are the way to go, maybe I’ll be surprised.

There may be somo other details but I’ll have to see it in person. The one think I am happy about is that the black version has “matte” case finish and not the “glossy” one! :) Which makes me want it even more! But sadly, I have some other debts to pay before I can get another loan for a MacBook.
