		<description>Yes, I've tried gentoo (the file manager :) and I must say that it just doesn't feel right. I've come to like "tree-based" and "column-based" (multiple columns, Apple Finder style) file managers too much.

I guess Emacs has an answer :)</description>

Some people claim it the best file-manager. I just use Konqueror in KDE, and I'm more then content with it. But I guess if you use Gnome, it's a bit awkward having to run a QT/KDE app.</description>
