How do computers bring people together
Well, yesterday I’ve spent a very nice evening with a very nice girl. We’ve talked about everything, I’ve tought her some computer tricks, she leeched some of my music and I’ve found someone that loves music to the point that she has an even bigger music collection than me (well, maybe even bigger than a friend of mine). A cup of tea and a couple of Apples (she has a PowerBook :) and the time passed with a blazing speed.
It’s nice to talk to someone that doesn’t know you and you don’t know her. I like the feeling of discovering the unknown and finding common grounds.
We’ve exchanged telephone numbers and everything (which I’ve not done since I’m in Ljubljana), so I hope to see her again - soon. :)
And all this thanks to Apple and Panther’s (MacOS X 10.3) trouble with Slovenian keyboard layout in combination with MS OfficeX!
How ironic. I’ve never thought I’ll meet someone like that because propretary software vendors make bad software!
