Another PodSafe site!?

I’ve just found another PodSafe site! This one is amazing!

PodSafe Audio is quite different from PSMN. It’s more like classic music download sites with charts and this kind of stuff.

The main difference is that you are free to download every song presented on the site. Now I don’t need my neat script… :( Maybe I’ll write another one for massive downloading from PodSafe Audio too. :)

Anyway, there seams to be a lot of free music present on the Internet, it’s just a matter of finding it and writing a script to download it. :) Not everything is good, but a lot of it is. And I think this new way to findout about unknown artists is just great.

Podcasting rules! :)

would this be the right time, to restart cyberpipe-mserv project? constant stream from a collection of free music, playing in cyberpipe’s main space?

Maybe… the problem is that we still have to download the files. This can be done, of course, but who is to decide what tracks are to be downloaded? Do we say, nothing with rating below 4.0 is good? Or do we have someone to be in charge of picking out the “good” music? And how do we handle the differeng genres that don’t mix that well?

Maybe we should offer to be a content mirror for the site (the content is CC licensed after all) and then we can do cherry-picking locally… I don’t know.
