A lost day
Well, not so lost as wasted. I mean, it was weird in so many ways…
Fist weird thing was me getting up as early as 8 o’clock! Compared to this, Jesus walking on water seams an everyday thing. ;)
Anyway, I was up and awake so I made a cup of coffee and went to check out some sites, mail and some school sites (I was expecting the results of last Wednesdays’ pre-exam). And just around 10 o’clock I’ve noticed the results online and a notice that stated that students can come and check the results from 11 o’clock further. Than god for the internet :/
So, I went to see my paper and it was catastrophic, quite like expected. I just made it into the “oral post-pre-exam” group, so I have to have the oral part of the exam some day this week. :(
This pre-exam was all wrong. I mean, it was corrected in an incorrect way. Some stuff, that the assistants and professor said it wouldn’t be relevant was in fact worth about half the points! So, basically, we were all screwed over! :(
Well, when I got over this (with extensive screaming and bitching about it in front of the faculty building), I decided it would be best to go home and study a lot. But…
I came half way with the bus and just decided to take a scenic tour around the city - on foot. And that was the worst decision all day. Because I ended up in Cyberpipe. Sure, it was cold (it was hot outside again) and there was a good company and I had high-speed internet access and … well, it doesn’t sound that bad, but it was! And after I convinced myself that it was time to go home, I stopped at the sandwich-maker, picked up something to eat and phoned my room-mate. And again I ended up at Cyberpipe, having a slow lunch and waiting for my room-mate to show up.
To make long story short… I came home 14 hours later than I first planed to. ;( And now that I finally found some will to pick up those books I’m just too tired to learn anything! I guess I’ll crash for today and try to get up early.
Oh yeah, about the girl I was talking about yesterday… I tried to phone her today but couldn’t reach her, so I sent her a text-message, but still got no reply. There could be two reasons for that: One, she doesn’t like me enough, not even for a cup of coffee; Two, I just have her old phone number. If latest is true, it is fixable - I’ll just have to get the new one. But if the first one is the right one, well… then I’m back to being “alone in the dark, with no girl on my mind.”
